Come and get curious about the incredible natural world right outside our front door!
Join Curious Kids for a morning of hands-on exploration, where nature, science and art come together in a fun and engaging experience for curious minds.
Get up close with some of our fascinating native insects and lizards, including the chance to meet and observe these incredible little creatures and discover what makes them so special. Then head outdoors for a guided nature walk through the Ginninderry Conservation Corridor, slowing down to look, listen and notice the wonderful things that are often hiding in plain sight.
Along the way, we'll take a closer look at the natural world through a science lens using microscopes to discover details we can't see with our eyes alone, learning about the creatures and plants around us, and asking questions about how everything fits together.
And because discovery doesn't have to stop at science, we'll get creative too! Children will have the opportunity to make their own stick insect, explore educational nature colouring activities, and use art as another way of observing, understanding and connecting with the world around them.
This is more than just a walk. It's an opportunity to slow down, get your hands dirty, meet some amazing little creatures, create, investigate and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
